Uniting and Equipping the Church in Northern Nevada

What began through Reno-Tahoe CityFest has revealed a clear opportunity: God is already at work in Northern Nevada, and the Church is being invited to respond together.

Through months of listening, prayer, and relationship-building, we have seen both the need and the readiness—pastors longing for unity, communities open to service, and a rising generation eager to lead.

‍

Rather than relying on a single event, this strategy embraces a relational, service-driven movement—one that prioritizes prayer, strengthens pastoral unity, mobilizes next-generation leaders, and meets tangible needs in the community. This week of ministry will lead to an evangelistic event on August 15. Along with young local leaders and partners from Forge, we will have 6 partner evangelists join us to proclaim the Good News of Jesus. In this spiritually dark place, we know that now is the time to bring the light of Christ to the people of Elko.

Pray that we are able to elevate the temperature of evangelism in this region. The Love Elko Campaign represents not just a moment, but the beginning of a sustainable Gospel presence shaped by collaboration, trust, and Spirit-led action.
