What we do

We invite people everywhere to know Jesus.

For over 60 years, we've been dreaming big and linking arms with the Church in cities across the globe to invite millions to know Jesus. Proclaim the Good News. Unite the Church. Activate believers worldwide.

HOW WE DO IT

One Mission. Four Expressions.

Festivals & Outreaches

Working with, through and for the local Church to saturate entire regions with the Good News.

Why Festivals?
Why Festivals?

In every city, hurting people need a chance to meet Jesus. But, who will introduce them? Our festivals build inviting pathways for everyday believers to share the hope of Christ.

...with,through, and for the local church

Over decades, we’ve seen the stunning beauty of the Gospel compel thousands of churches to set aside their differences and unite to reach their friends, family, neighbors, and coworkers with the clear, life-changing message of Jesus. Our festivals are much more than big parties. They are citywide movements to engage every believer in personal evangelism.

Cultivate relationships and Church unity.

For 12-36 months, local churches work hand in hand with us to pray and prepare for a concerted season of outreach—and for a sustained evangelism movement after the festival!

Palau festivals are about more than a moment, they’re a movement. And the driving force behind that movement is the thousands of local believers who step up to be the hands and feet of Jesus in their city. Targeted training and unified prayer support believers as they engage in creative evangelism and service efforts, tailored to the needs of their city.

At the festival, the atmosphere is charged with overwhelming hope as thousands gather to hear the Good News of Jesus. They’ve been invited to experience renowned musical artists, family fun, action sports, and more. It all culminates in multiple opportunities to hear and respond to the Gospel.

Gospel proclamation doesn't only happen from the main stage but also through specialised outreaches—at prisons, schools, on the streets, at interest-based banquets, medical clinics, and more. After all of our outreach events, follow-up teams from local churches reach out to connect with new believers and help them grow.

It’s crazy to say, but if I was the only one who came to salvation at that event, isn’t it worth it? My husband would say it’s worth it, my children would say it’s worth it…

Global Network of Evangelists

Creating communities of evangelists committed to completing the Great Commission together.

Why does it matter?
Why does it matter?

Evangelists, no matter how passionate about sharing the Gospel, face challenges that pressure them to give up—challenges that impact evangelism for this generation and the next.

In God’s Kingdom, we are better together. United in supportive relationships and collaborative ministry, we can take the Gospel further than we ever could on our own.

Palau encourages thousands of global evangelists to enter into community with one another. We identify, affirm, equip, connect, and mobilise evangelists. The community sharpens and encourages one another in their evangelistic calling through global and local networks and collaborative outreach efforts that share the love of Jesus.

Connect evangelists through country networks.

The future of evangelism depends on what we do right now. By connecting evangelists within their own country to collaborate and support one another, invaluable Gospel work is sustained for the long term.

Equip evangelists through training and small groups.

Regular small group meetings provide evangelists with a vital space for growth, encouragement, and accountability. These gatherings create opportunities for healthy dialogue about evangelism and a deepened commitment to studying the Bible for a richer understanding of the Gospel. Through honest self-reflection, shared insights, and open discussions, members refine their approach and strengthen their faith.

When evangelists unite to reach a region, the impact is profound. Emerging evangelists gain hands-on experience by shadowing seasoned ministers. A shared passion and spirit of teamwork multiply the Gospel’s reach, as evangelists from diverse cultures come together to train thousands of local believers in evangelism, host festivals, and pioneer creative approaches.

Evangelism Teams

Empowering local leaders to reach their cities and regions together through unified Gospel movements.

Why does it matter?
Why does it matter?

Our culture often feels dark and divided. Many have yet to see the true heart of Jesus. The Church’s response in this unique moment is crucial. Yet evangelism does not come naturally to most. Even churches that value it deeply report that, without a concerted and unified focus on evangelism, it tends to be sidelined in their ministry.

At the heart of this movement is its Evangelism Team (E-Team)—a group of pastors, nonprofit leaders, evangelists, and influential community members passionate about outreach. This E-Team acts as a catalyst for transformation, ensuring that evangelism remains a core priority. They lead collaborative efforts, spark creativity, and help churches maintain focus on the bigger vision.

Evangelism Teams assess their city's needs through surveys, listening tours, and mapping the Christian ecosystem. Engaging local leaders helps build trust, strengthen relationships, and shape a shared evangelism vision. These insights guide strategy and ensure the E-Team is well equipped to lead effectively.

Unite believers to reach their city.

Evangelism Teams unite to reach people with the Gospel by embracing creative, collaborative outreach. Rather than relying solely on traditional methods, they create opportunities for spiritual conversations in homes, schools, and community gatherings. By bringing together churches, businesses, and nonprofits, they develop citywide strategies that focus on authentic connections, planting the seeds for lasting spiritual transformation.

Each year with Palau, we've taken strategic steps forward. First, we formed an evangelism team. Then, we conducted a comprehensive listening tour, connecting with local pastors, business leaders, and city officials. Eventually, we developed a comprehensive 10-year vision called Within Reach—a roadmap positioning evangelism as a core city-wide initiative.

Digital Evangelism

Inviting billions in hard-to-reach places to meet Jesus and grow in Him from right where they are.

Why does it matter?
Why does it matter?

People in pain scroll for hope. What will they find? By harnessing digital tools we interrupt their social media feeds with the hope of Jesus. We meet them with the light of Christ in their moment of need. Many of the top nations we reach each day are closed to the Gospel—places like Pakistan, Myanmar, Saudi Arabia, and Afghanistan.

Open access to share Jesus on the world’s largest digital advertising platforms may not last forever. In this moment, stewarding the Gospel well means utilising technology to reach as many people as we can. And it’s working! We reach over two million people with Gospel ads each day and millions say, Yes! to Jesus each year.

Engaging Gospel ads go out on social media.

People spend an average of about 2.5 hours on social media each day. We interrupt the noise with the hope of Jesus through compelling graphics and short video ads that invite them to read a Gospel presentation. Our team continually tests approaches to maximise the effectiveness of every Gospel message, meeting people right where they are.

After reading a complete Gospel presentation, seekers are asked whether they would like to confess Jesus as their Saviour and pray right now to begin a relationship with God. They click, “Yes!” to let us know about their decision and get support on their journey as new believers.

Decision makers then have the option to participate in our 50-day discipleship programme called Made New. Within that series they’re invited to participate in growth challenges like reading the Gospel of John, developing a daily prayer practice, and joining a local church. When they need deeper support, they can chat with a digital mentor who prays for them and responds to their questions. Beyond the discipleship series, they stay connected with us through daily devotional videos and reading plans on the Bible app.

I didn't know God, especially his intimacy and love. I lost my husband suddenly in an accident and life became so hard that I didn’t want to live. Now that I’ve heard the Gospel, I’ve experienced that God is a father of orphans, a husband to widows, and so I have given my whole family to him.
